Across APAC, we’re working hard to minimise our fresh water use, with approximately 60% of our factories investing heavily in water recycling plants that have significantly reduced the amount used in production. Working to stringent Global Wastewater Discharge Standards (in line with Business for Social Responsibility’s Wastewater Discharge Standards), all and any water used by our manufacturing partners is also properly treated before being returned to the surrounding ecosystem and community.

With reduced carbon emissions, through increased use of sustainable solar and wind energy, many of our denim suppliers have upgraded their tumble dryers to reduce power consumption by at least 30%, and have implemented an alternate drying process.
