SAKURA | Dancer, model & artist.According to a local hip-hop mag, Sakura is a symbol of Tokyo’s street culture. So when we hit the streets of Harajuku with her it was no surprise she was easily recognised having worked with the likes of Adidas, Fenty and Puma recently. But while modelling is her main game, the girl also dabbles in the music scene having released two hip-hop singles in 2018. Stay tuned on this one.
THE DUKE OF HARAJUKU | A hip-hop artist at heart but a lover of all realms of art from fashion, music, painting and drawing, The Duke first moved to Tokyo from Atlanta when he was 18 and hasn’t looked back since. “I like the energy of the city, all my inspiration is from Tokyo, it’s a stimulating city”.
MARTA | Editor & Producer. Spanish babe and all-round nice gal Marta had us feeling right at home when we caught up in her local hood of Yutenji. Having lived in the city for a number of years Marta loves the creativity in Tokyo, so it isn’t hard to see why she’s one half of a creative production company whilst simultaneously heading up her own online magazine.
LAURENT | French model/fashion buyer. Laurent has lived in New York, Paris, Vancouver and now Tokyo and loves everything about the city’s fashion scene, “they’re not afraid to use more colour, shapes are different and it’s way less conservative than in Europe”.
BIANCO | Art Director and creator of cool things off and online, Bianco recently setup home in Tokyo, as well as his very own creative company Biancissimo. His love for the city is strong, from the food to the day-to-day local living and he hopes to shed light on the people, brands and places that makeup the city he loves.
MOVE WITH REI| We hung out with aspiring professional skateboarder Rei Tachikawa early one morning at his local skate shop in the heart of Harajuku. Skating since he could walk, Rei wears our Z-Two in Daystone Blue.
