MOVE WITH LEE IN NYC
We took on the city that never sleeps first hand and spent a few days getting to know a bunch of local legends to find out more about how they survive the concrete jungle.

We took on the city that never sleeps first hand and spent a few days getting to know a bunch of local legends to find out more about how they survive the concrete jungle, their fave neighbourhood haunts and how they like to style their Lee denim.
MEET KATE
First up is one of our fave stylist and artists – Kate Carnegie. Born in Melbourne, Kate trained at Central Saint Martins in London where she completed an internship at British Vogue. She is currently based in New York where has been honing her skills as an artist, fashion stylist, photographer and creative director amongst other things. We shot Kate at her local Bodega in Chinatown.

MEET BON
Meet Bon – a New York based director with a background in fine arts, he is known for his photography and film making. Brooklyn born and raised, Bon has shot campaigns and directed films for Adidas, Nike, Phillip Lim, was the co-founder of New York Fashion Film Festival and has worked with the likes of ASAP Rocky and Virgil Abloh just to name a few…

MEET NORA
Meet Nora – a self-prescribed Lithuanian born, New York based professional poser – aka one of the city’s coolest models. We met Nora at her cute Lower East Side apartment and headed straight for her rooftop for a rad view of the city sights where we chatted about her overseas travels and the title of her autobiography (should she ever write one) “how to get a US visa”…

MEET THE YOUNG EMPERORS
Meet The Young Emperors aka Isabella and Nelson. This quirky duo, hail from Paris but spend their time in New York as video makers and photographers. They’ve hosted their own exhibitions and had their works featured in the likes of Vice Magazine and Refinery29 . Oh and did we mention they’re a couple who love to match outfits?

MEET EDDY
Meet Eddy, one of the city’s hottest restaurateurs and former personal mixologist of Justin Timberlake. This former Melbournian, who takes the word “charismatic” to a new level doesn’t do things by halves, having recently opened a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown of all places. A bold move by New York standards but one that has certainly got the tick of approval from the likes of The Kardashian clan and top models Joan Smalls and Lily Aldridge who have all been spotted at Chinese Tuxedo.

MEET FANIE
Meet Fanie – another Australian born talent making a name for herself in NYC. Fanie is an architect, interior designer and best pal of Kate Carnegie. We kicked it with Fanie on the Lower East Side, where we chatted about her work for clients like Scanlon and Theodore and a host of hip NYC eateries including Chinese Tuxedo and The Good Sort as well as a hotel in upstate New York.
